The Speedway also reserves the right to update, delete, or amend these rules and specifications as it (the speedway) deems necessary in the best interest in the speedway, the drivers, and the sport of racing.

ATTENTION ALL DRIVERS, TEAMS, AND OWNERS!  

            Racing is a family sports and one that should be enjoyable.  Please remember that we are here because of the Fans and Sponsors.  While racing can involve substantial financial stakes, this should be your hobby and should be enjoyable.  There is NO excuse for bad or unruly behavior or conduct in anyway.   Please note that we do allow children in the pit area and therefore we must act respectful and professional.  You drivers are the role models for these children.  We are here to promote clean family entertainment and you are the staring role in this show!  

THERE IS NO TOLERANCE OF FIGHTING OR DISORDERLY CONDUCT.  The LaSalle Speedway management including the Race Director, Flagman and Security Officers reserve the right to suspend any driver, crewmember, or spectator that is fighting or conducting themselves in a disorderly manner.

 1.  Parking procedures Late Models & Modified should park on top with Street Stocks & 4-Cylinders  on the lower pits.  If you want to save a place for someone other than your division then park in the lower pits. NO PARKING ALONG EAST FENCE.  

2.  Children in the pit area should be accompanied by an adult at all times, take care of your children, watch for them and watch over them.  Any child that comes in the pits weekly should have a current annual minors release form signed, this can be done at the pit trailer.

 3.  All cars must assist in packing the track, any car that repeatedly does not pack the track will not be able to hot lap and will only get one lap of qualifying.

 4. Yellow means proceed with caution, and to watch for the track officials.  Slow down!  Allow the track officials to do their job.  Anyone who lights tires in turn four will be sent to the pits.  

5. Any crewmember going out onto the race surface to aid in a fight will be ejected from the speedway and so will his driver.  Keep your crewmembers in check. Drivers and cars owner are responsible for their crews. Anyone attacking a speedway official will be subject to arrest. 

 6. Cars needing to be pushed weekly will not be tolerated.  Have your car in running order.

 7. DO NOT STAND IN THE TRACK OPENINGS!

 8. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR TIRES HERE.  Anyone who leaves tires in the pit area will be asked not to come back. Please keep the pit area clean. 

  9.  ALL DRIVERS PLEASE NOTE:  All events will be conducted according to schedule in a timely manner.  Main Features will start whenever possible by 9:30 PM and races should completed by 10:30 PM schedule will be posted as will line ups and qualifying orders.  Time limits will be imposed as such 1 minutes per lap therefore a 6 lap race should take 6 minutes and so on.

2008 4-CYLINDER HORNETS RULES

1. Any Stock appearing 4-cylinder car with a maximum wheelbase of 105" and a complete stock body, frame, and suspension. The dash, steering, and pedals must remain stock for that make and model. All insulation under hood must be removed.
2. Stock carburetor/ fuel injection for the make and model of car.
3. Stock transmission for the make and model of car.
4. Battery must remain under the hood.
5. Stock unaltered front and rear wheels.
6. No Turbo!
7. Passenger tires only. Wheels and tires must be of like size. All wheels must use oversized lug nuts.
8. Stock gas tanks above rear axel may remain in place. If stock tank is behind rear axel it must be removed and replaced with a fuel cell (Max. of 10 gal.). Fuel cell must be covered and secured in the trunk of the car.
9. Roll bars must be welded to car with minimum of 1½ in diameter tubing and a minimum thickness of 0.090" steel tubing. 4 point and 3 door bars minimum. Any other reinforcement cannot exceed out of drivers compartment.
10. Driver's door must be welded or chained shut. Door plates are recommended. (Leaf springs separated and welded to outside of door bars are allowed).
11. All glass/mirrors must be removed. Third brake light must remain intact and in working order.
12. All cars are subject to inspection at anytime.
13. Car horn and radio can remain intact and in working order. Mufflers are mandatory!
14. Exhaust must exit behind driver's door under the car.
15. Air bags must be removed.
16. Interior must be removed. Racing seat and belts are mandatory.
17. No weights allowed.
18. Window net is required. Window bars and screening in front of driver is recommended.
19. Helmet, 5 point racing belts, and fireproof driver's suit are mandatory.
