Midwest Legends Dirt Series Release 2026 Schedule

West Allis, WI (December 15th, 2025) - As the third year of the Midwest Legends Dirt Series starts growing closer, the series is happy to release the provisional 2026 schedule. Months of hard work have gone into making 2026 the best year yet.

Thirty-three dates are included on the schedule, a slight decrease from 2025. Three states are represented, with the majority of races in Wisconsin, followed by Iowa and Illinois. Fifteen tracks are represented on the schedule, with ten being returning tracks that have hosted MLDS events, and five new tracks that have never seen MLDS action.

The season starts off in Wisconsin, on April 25th, at the Plymouth Dirt Track.

The Kenosha County Fairgrounds and Wilmot Raceway mark the first night of racing in May for the series on the 9th. The series makes its debut at the track known for growing some of the best racers. A trip to Iowa on the 16th takes us to Maquoketa Speedway for the first of two appearances. Cedar Lake Speedway sees the series return again in 2026 on the 23rd, and also sees another co-sanctioned event with the Rolling Thunder Dirt Legends, further growing the relationships with our friends out west. The series makes the quick turn around to 141 Speedway on the 24th for a doubleheader weekend many enjoyed in 2025. The month is wrapped up on the 29th and 30th, with action kicking off at Gravity Park Speedway on Friday night, before heading south of the border for the first time, and debuting at LaSalle Speedway in Illinois.

June is kicked off on the 10th at Luxy Raceway, the first of a handful of weekday races for the series. The 13th is a return to Wilmot Raceway for the second time in the season. Gravity Park is back on the 19th with a short rest for the series that week before heading to the first of two triple headers. The 26th will see the series make the trip back to Lafayette Speedway in Darlington, Wisconsin Friday night. Illinois’s Sycamore Speedway is back again for the 2026 season on the 27th, Saturday night. It’s a trip to Angell Park Speedway in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, to wrap up the month on Sunday the 28th.

July starts nice and early with a trip to Luxy on the 2nd. The series returns to Wilmot on the 10th for the final time alongside the World Of Outlaws Sprint Cars. The series heads back to Angell Park on the 12th for the second of three nights. It’s a trip to Gravity Park on the 17th as the only race that week before a big travel week. The series heads to Mississippi Thunder Speedway in Fountain City, Wisconsin to make its debut in the second co-sanctioned event with the Rolling Thunder Dirt Legends on the 24th. Venues are being assessed on the 25th and will be announced when ready. A week later, the second triple header weekend kicks off early on Thursday night in Iowa, at Maquoketa Speedway. The series then heads to Sycamore Speedway for two nights of racing on the 31st, on the small track.

The Sycamore track grows on the 1st of August, as the big track takes over. It’s back to Gravity Park on the 7th before a short week brings us to Luxy Raceway on Wednesday the 12th. The 15th sees the series head up to The Hill Raceway in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, with the series making its debut there after a rainout in 2025. The night after on the 16th, the series makes its final Angell Park appearance of the season. The final two west races are a week later on the 21st and 22nd, with the series making its first ever visit to Red Cedar Speedway in Menominee, Wisconsin. A short drive to Cedar Lake Speedway wraps up the month of August, with both races wrapping up the co-sanctioned nights with the Rolling Thunder Dirt Legends.

A four race September draws the season close to the finish with another trip to 141 opening up the month on the 5th. It’s a lone appearance at Outagamie Speedway on the 12th for Fall Brawl night. A double header at Gravity Park on the 18th and 19th round out the month.

We find the finale on October 3rd at Luxy Raceway, where the best will battle it out for the final time in 2026.

The schedule is subject to change and changes will be announced at a later date when needed.

The series sets its sights forward now to sponsorship for the 2026 season. If you or someone you know may be interested in sponsoring the series, have them reach out or reach out to us and we will happily get in touch. This series would not be possible if it wasn’t for our sponsors and we want you to be a part of our family.
