Pierce Sets Up Shop In Victory Lane For "Illinois Valley Showdown"
It was the highest paying race in LaSalle Speedway history Saturday night when the (32) MARS Racing Series Late Models powered by FK Rod Ends took the track for the $25,000-to-win "Illinois Valley Showdown" presented by Arizona Sport Shirts. Oakwood, Illinois' Bobby Pierce held off a slew of drivers during the 75-lap feature event and dodged lap traffic to pick up the large payday ahead of Ryan Unzicker and Brandon Sheppard.
