The Hell Tour Returns to LaSalle Speedway + Fireworks
One of dirt racing’s most anticipated annual events makes its long-awaited return to LaSalle Speedway & Event Center as the DIRTcar Summer Nationals “Hell Tour” storms back into town on Thursday, July 3rd for the first time in over four years.
The last time the Summer Nationals graced the LaSalle dirt, Brian Shirley of Chatham, IL, took the checkered flag in the Late Model feature, while Mooresville, North Carolina's Nick Hoffman parked it in victory lane for the Summit Racing Equipment Modified Nationals. Now, both fans and drivers are gearing up for another thrilling night of high-octane racing to kick off Independence Day weekend in unforgettable fashion.
Promoters Tony Izzo Jr. and Justin McCoy are buzzing with excitement about the return of the Hell Tour, widely known as the most grueling stretch of dirt racing in the country.
"We are thrilled to have the Hell Tour back at the speedway and are extremely excited to be kicking off Independence Day weekend and give the drivers and fans such an amazing event," said Izzo Jr.
Thursday night’s lineup features the nation’s best Late Model drivers battling it out for the $5,000-to-win "Freedom 40" as well as the $1,500-to-win Modified event. The night will also feature a spectacular fireworks show by RKM Fireworks, guaranteed to light up the skies and entertain fans of all ages.
This stop marks another milestone in LaSalle Speedway’s triumphant return to racing in 2025, a season that has already seen strong fan support, thrilling events, and a family-friendly atmosphere. Fans will also be able to enjoy a variety of food trucks, shop for apparel and merchandise, and take part in a night that promises to be as fun off the track as it is on it.
Tickets, VIP parking, and RV camping spots are available now at www.lasallespeedway.com. Don’t miss your chance to be part of this action-packed night — both on the dirt and in the sky — as LaSalle Speedway roars back into the Hell Tour spotlight.
